The purpose of this website is to display artifacts and challenge the theories that early man migrated from Africa to the rest of the world. Mainstream archaeology has denied the existence of certain stone tool technologies here in the United States maintaining that the Clovis cultures were the first tool makers to inhabit North America after migrating south via the Bering land bridge. Other theories have begun to surface with the discoveries of sites that have yielded carbon dates of materials that predate Clovis. The alleged preclovis sites such as Meadowcroft, Topper, and a few others have lacked one important aspect.....a "coherent" set of artifacts or tools to accompany the dated materials leaving much speculation as to the inhabitants of such sites and their lithic technology.
I hope this site will shed some new light on America's first tool makers. Tools from Indiana, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia are being found that challenge all previous theory as to early man's migrations and origin. Lithic technology only previously found abroad is now being found right here in the U.S. ......Rick doninger

During what archaeologists call the lower and middle paleolithic periods there were lithic technologies known as Oldowan, Acheulean ,then the Mousterian of Acheulean. The latter two were based on a style known as prepared core or levallois technology. Until recently levallois lithics had only been found abroad in early man sites and sites known to be associated with the neanderthals. I will show that the same style stone tools are present here in the U.S.
be sure to check out the photos and slide show, I will be adding new pics from time to time and if you have a request to see a particular tool type from the lower to early upper paleolithic, write me and I will try to display it.
I welcome comments and questions about each piece as I am sure there are some flint implements here that have never been seen before here in the U.S.
This is just one example of many artifacts found recently that testify to a lithic industry totally different than all previously found Native American tools.
